Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Job Summary We are seeking an analytical, technically proficient, and highly proactive Systems Support Engineer to join our infrastructure and technical operations practice. In this role, you will be the core technical owner responsible for designing, configuring, monitoring, and optimizing our enterprise system environments, server architectures, and relational databases. Operating at our CBD hub, you will bridge the gap between front-office consulting teams and back-end data engineering squads to resolve complex technical challenges, deploy server patches, and maintain system high availability. The ideal candidate will combine strong diagnostic capabilities with deep systems administration logic to eliminate operational bottlenecks and protect mission-critical application ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systems Administration & Monitoring: Design, install, configure, and maintain corporate systems infrastructure, cloud-native directory services (Microsoft 365, Active Directory), and enterprise server operating systems.
  • Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor system latency parameters, compute asset capacities, and transactional data logs; identify database refresh issues and clear architecture bottlenecks to hit zero-downtime goals.
  • Incident Lifecycle Management: Provide rapid, decisive tier 2 and tier 3 technical troubleshooting to isolate and resolve system crashes, permission blocks, or backend software conflicts under strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Infrastructure Security: Deploy automated patch management paths, evaluate firewall rule dependencies, and audit system endpoint access logs to guard highly sensitive client datasets from perimeter security risks.
  • Backup & Business Continuity: Establish, automate, and routinely verify comprehensive disaster recovery routines, server configuration backups, and cloud storage replication workflows.
  • Technical Documentation: Author and maintain precise systems architecture sheets, data dictionary records, software update logs, and written recovery guides for internal engineering audits.
  • Data Governance Compliance: Ensure all remote diagnostic processes, user permission changes, and core system architectures strictly comply with information security standards and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a highly quantitative STEM field.
  • Technical Stack: Deep administrative knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments, virtualized structures (VMware or Hyper-V), and relational database querying using SQL. Hands-on familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation is highly values-led.
  • Cloud Architecture: Proven familiarity with provisioning and administering enterprise workloads in public cloud networks (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience: Prior hands-on experience (1–5 years) as a Systems Support Engineer, Systems Administrator, or Infrastructure Support Analyst—preferably supporting an enterprise SaaS, financial technical system, or multi-client B2B advisory sector—is required.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional structural logic, sharp analytical diagnostic skills under pressure, high attention to detail, and an approachable, collaborative team-player mindset.

Pay: $4,500.00 - $8,700.00 per month
