Role Description The Business Studies Teacher will deliver engaging lessons in Business and related subjects to secondary-level learners, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum and educational standards. This full-time, on-site role is based at Maverick Education SB in Kajang. Daily responsibilities include planning and preparing lesson materials, teaching classes, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will support students’ understanding of core business and economics concepts, facilitate classroom discussions, and encourage critical thinking, creativity, and real-world application. Additional duties include participating in school activities, collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a caring, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Business and Economics, with the ability to teach core business concepts and economic principles clearly and accurately.
• Proficiency in Education and Lesson Planning, including designing structured lessons, assessments, and learning activities suited to diverse learners.
• Excellent Communication skills for explaining complex ideas, engaging students, and collaborating effectively with families and colleagues.
• Relevant academic qualification in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or equivalent training is an advantage.
• Classroom teaching experience at secondary level, preferably in Business Studies or related subjects.
• Ability to create an inclusive, student-centered classroom, manage behavior positively, and support different learning styles.
• Comfort with using basic educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
