Haza Food Hiring! Part Time Commis chef in Johor, Earn up to MYR 2,600 - Ricebowl

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations such as food preparation and cooking according to recipes and company standards.
• Prepare ingredients, including cutting, chopping, portioning, and marinating.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently according to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs at all times.
• Properly store and label ingredients based on FIFO and food safety requirements.
• Monitor ingredients and inform the person in charge of low or insufficient stock.
• Minimise food wastage and ensure proper handling of ingredients.
• Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies when required.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and utensils are properly used, cleaned, and stored.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Perform opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned.
• Carry out other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Head Chef or Management.

Requirements:

• Experience in kitchen or F&B operations is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates / candidates without experience are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible, disciplined, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
