Job Summary We are seeking a highly systematic, analytical, and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our regional corporate finance and accounting practice. In this critical role, you will be the core technical owner responsible for managing the end-to-end credit assessment lifecycle, administering corporate debt collection pipelines, auditing client credit limits, and reducing outstanding ledger exposure metrics. Operating at the intersection of our frontline account managers, backend sales desks, and corporate treasury units, you will ensure total precision in our collection registries. The ideal candidate will combine strong data tracking precision with sharp telephone negotiation diplomacy to eliminate cash-flow delays, resolve payment discrepancies, and support seamless corporate working capital continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Credit Risk Assessment Management: Evaluate, audit, and establish creditworthiness structures for new and existing corporate accounts, analyzing financial metrics to recommend risk mitigation boundaries.
- Collections Pipeline Execution: Coordinate and manage systematic collection routines for outstanding corporate receivables, proactively communicating with commercial debtors via phone and digital portals.
- Discrepancy Troubleshooting: Investigate, cross-check, and resolve complex billing variances, customer disputes, or pricing gaps promptly and with high commercial diplomacy.
- Aging Reports & Analytics: Extract, clean, and interpret multi-layered debtor aging records, compiling monthly collection forecast sheets and credit risk dashboards for management review.
- Account Allocation & Reconciliation: Audit and reconcile incoming receipts against open customer statements, tracking transaction adjustments and issuing credit adjustments accurately.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as a central administrative bridge between front-office sales consultants, internal legal compliance units, and backend corporate accounting squads.
- Statutory Tax Compliance: Verify all collection data allocations and financial documentation structures strictly comply with internal control matrices and Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) frameworks.
- Data Governance Adherence: Enforce strict information security protocols across all credit logs, ensuring all target tracking and pipeline routing strictly comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) [Singapore].
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Corporate Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related quantitative professional discipline.
- Technical Proficiency: High competency in utilizing advanced Microsoft Office Suite applications (specifically Excel for aging sheets data models, pivot tables, and formulas like VLOOKUP). Hands-on experience navigating enterprise software grids (such as SAP, Oracle ERP, or NetSuite) is required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a corporate credit control, debt recovery administration, accounts receivable (AR), or transactional finance analyst role—preferably within a professional services, tech consultancy, logistics, or multi-market trading company—is required. Fast-learning candidates with robust quantitative tracking records are welcome.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; professional telephone negotiation etiquette and an assertive yet diplomatic stakeholder management style.

Pay: $3,800.00 - $6,200.00 per month
