Senior Automation Engineer (High-Impact / Mission-Critical Systems)
Role Overview
We are looking for an elite Automation Engineer who can design, build, and own
end-to-end automation systems at scale
. This is not a script-writing role—you will be expected to engineer
resilient, production-grade automation
that replaces manual operations across complex environments.
You must operate with strong ownership, anticipate failure scenarios, and deliver automation that is
observable, testable, and fault-tolerant under real-world conditions
.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Architecture & Engineering
Design and implement
scalable automation frameworks
across infrastructure, applications, and workflows
Build automation using
Python (or equivalent), APIs, and event-driven systems
Develop pipelines for CI/CD, test automation, and operational workflows
Systems Thinking & Reliability
Engineer automation with
idempotency, rollback, and failure recovery mechanisms
Identify bottlenecks and eliminate manual dependencies at system level
Ensure automation is production-ready with logging, monitoring, and alerting
Technical Ownership
Own automation lifecycle from design → deployment → optimization
Debug complex failures across distributed systems
Enforce coding standards, version control, and maintainability
Cross-Functional Impact
Work with DevOps, QA, Security, and Product teams to automate critical processes
Challenge inefficient workflows and redesign end-to-end processes
Deliver measurable impact (time saved, incidents reduced, uptime improved)
Non-Negotiable Requirements
5–10+ years in automation engineering (not manual QA or basic scripting)
Proven experience building
production-grade automation frameworks
Strong programming skills (Python, Java, or similar—not low-code tools)
Deep understanding of
CI/CD, APIs, testing strategies, and system reliability
Experience working with
distributed systems, cloud environments, or large-scale platforms
Demonstrated ability to debug failures across multiple layers (code, infra, network)
Exceptional Candidate Signals
Built automation that replaced entire workflows or teams—not just tasks
Experience with
infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
Strong grasp of
observability (logs, metrics, tracing)
Proven impact in high-scale or high-availability environments
