SAP FICO Application Support Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Application Support Engineer to join our Software Engineering team, supporting a client in the Plantation & Agriculture industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing application support, troubleshooting complex system issues, maintaining business continuity, and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the SAP FICO module.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support for critical business systems and resolve complex technical and functional issues.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP FICO.
• Analyze system issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Perform application remediation and IT troubleshooting.
• Monitor system health and proactively identify potential risks to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend preventive measures.
• Provide solutions and technical guidance to the immediate team and other teams when required.
• Take ownership of team decisions and contribute to effective team performance.
• Share knowledge and technical insights with team members to promote a collaborative working environment.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO, Application Support, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience and expertise in the SAP FICO module.
• Experience in application support / production support.
• Strong knowledge of IT troubleshooting and application remediation.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex system issues.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working collaboratively with multiple teams.
• Team leadership or management experience is an added advantage.
• Experience in the Plantation & Agriculture industry is an added advantage.

Pay: RM18,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per hour
