The Role

If you have a strong background in Oracle, PL/SQL, and data reconciliation, this is your opportunity to play a critical role in a major Mainframe-to-Oracle data migration project within the banking sector. As a Software Developer/Data Engineer, you will lead the end-to-end technical reconciliation process, ensuring that every piece of migrated data is complete, accurate, and consistent across multiple migration cycles.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end technical reconciliation of Mainframe-to-Oracle data migration

• Define reconciliation strategy, validation rules, and acceptance criteria

• Perform source-to-target validation including record counts and field-level comparisons

• Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, duplicates, and transformation issues

• Validate data across dry runs, mock runs, rehearsals, and production migration

• Develop complex SQL/PL-SQL scripts to automate data validation and reconciliation

• Analyze migration logs and error reports to determine root causes and support troubleshooting

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical expertise in Oracle Database and PL/SQL

• Advanced SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation scripting

• Experience with ETL processes and data transformation logic

• Solid understanding of data profiling and data quality principles

• Familiarity with shell scripting and Linux-based environments

• Proven ability to work with large-volume enterprise data migrations
