Position Summary:
Duties and Responsibilities:
General
1. Carry out a full range of staff nurse duties including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients' condition.
2. Monitor life support equipment (e.g ventilator), administer medication and observe patients' vital signs and reactions to medical procedure.
3. Update the patients' progress to doctors and follow precise instruction on patient care.
4. Respond to medical emergencies and alert the respective doctors.
5. Be able to provide support and education to patients' family.
6. Ensure correct usage of equipment and assist in training of others as required.
7. Maintain patients' records.
8. Check DDA, controlled drugs, emergency trolley, and portable oxygen for each shift.
9. Carry out inventory on surgical and equipment for each week.
10. Maintain patients' safety by taking preventive measures against accidents and incidents.
11. Take personal responsibilities of own professional development.
12. Perform any other duties as assigned or directed.
Education and Requirements:
1. Registered Nurse with at least 3 years experiences in ICU/Critical Care Unit.
2. Preferably with a post-basic certificate in Intensive Care nursing.
3. Valid annual practicing certificate.
4. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
4. Able to communicate well in both written and spoken English language and Bahasa Malaysia.

Pay: From RM2,900.00 per month
