The Baker is a production-focused role responsible for executing daily baking production strictly according to the company's rules, regulations, and SOP, under the guidance of the Chief Baker and Assistant Chief Baker.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out proofing, shaping, baking, and finishing of products following the standard recipes and SOP.
• Follow the correct baking temperature and time for each product without deviation.
• Check own work for quality and appearance before handing off to display/packing.
• Handle raw material preparation and portioning accurately to minimise wastage.
• Keep the workstation, tools, and equipment clean in line with the kitchen cleaning and food safety SOP.
• Report low stock, ingredient issues, or equipment faults to the Assistant Chief Baker/Chief Baker promptly.
• Guide and support Junior Bakers with basic production tasks when assigned.
• Follow the work schedule and attendance requirements set by the Chief Baker.
• Comply with all instructions and assignments given by the Chief Baker, Assistant Chief Baker, or outlet management.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant baking/production experience, or equivalent culinary training.
• Candidates with a relevant bakery/culinary certification (Diploma in Baking or Pastry Arts) will be a strong advantage.
• Able to follow written and verbal SOP instructions accurately; basic English reading ability preferred.
• Physically able to handle standing, lifting, and kitchen equipment for extended shifts.
• Basic familiarity with food safety/hygiene practices; willing to be trained on Halal or other food safety requirements.
• Team player with a reliable, disciplined work attitude.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
