Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Attend to customer enquiries on quotations, shipment arrangements and day-to-day operational matters.
Prepare freight quotations and arrange the activation of import, export and cross-trade shipments.
Coordinate closely with customers, overseas agents and internal teams to facilitate smooth shipment operations.
Handle and verify import and export documentation, ensuring all required paperwork is completed within the required timelines.
Follow up on shipment movements and keep customers updated on the latest status and any changes.
Investigate and resolve customer concerns or operational issues, working with relevant parties on corrective actions where necessary.
Deliver consistent customer service by adhering to established processes, company policies and service standards.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date shipment records, reports and documentation.
Support sales and marketing initiatives and other related activities when required.
Carry out other duties and assignments as directed by management.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics or a similar industry.
Familiarity with import and export procedures and related documentation.
Understanding of air or sea freight operations
