Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including strong exposure to the insurance domain. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the delivery of IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand insurance processes and requirements.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, project managers, and vendors throughout the SDLC.
• Support UAT, including test scenario preparation, defect clarification, and business-user coordination.
• Perform requirement traceability and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Facilitate requirement workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Support system enhancements, implementation, integration, and process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare documentation and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst / Business Analyst.
• Relevant experience in the insurance industry/domain.
• Good understanding of insurance business processes such as:
• Policy Administration
• Claims
• Underwriting
• Premium/Billing
• Customer/Policy servicing
• Insurance product lifecycle
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and functional analysis.
• Experience preparing BRD/FRD, user stories, use cases, and process documentation.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools is an advantage.

Preferred

• Experience with insurance application implementation or transformation projects.
• Exposure to system integration/API requirements and data mapping.
• Experience working with business, technology, QA, and vendor teams.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
