1. Job Summary

The Driver cum Dispatch is responsible for providing safe, punctual and professional transportation for the Management, clients and Company guests within the Klang Valley and outstation, as well as carrying out daily dispatch duties.

The role also ensures that the Company vehicle is properly maintained and that all journeys are accurately recorded. Given the nature of the business, the position requires a high level of flexibility and availability, including overtime on weekends and public holidays.

2. Job Responsibilities

2.1 Driving Duties

• Ensure timely pick-up clients/guests and Management personnel. (In Klang Valley/Outstation).
• Carry out all driving duties in a safe, reliable, courteous and professional manner at all times.
• Ensure the cleanliness, safety and regular maintenance of the Company vehicle.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and arrange for routine servicing or emergency repairs as and when required.
• Record pick-up and drop-off duty accurately and completely in the vehicle logbook for ad-hoc arrangements.

2.2 Dispatch Duties

• Plan, schedule and carry out daily dispatch tasks, ensuring that all items reach the designated locations accurately and on time.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods and documents when necessary.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

2.3 Overtime & Availability

• Work overtime on weekdays, weekends and public holidays as and when required to meet business needs.
• Be available for outstation and overnight assignments, including at short notice
• Remain contactable outside normal working hours to respond to urgent schedule changes.
• Priority will be given to candidates who are able to commit to overtime duties, including weekends and public holidays. Overtime will be compensated in accordance with the Employment Act 1955 and Company policy.

3. Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Personal Driver and Dispatch, or in an equivalent role.
• Possess a valid Malaysian Competent Driving Licence (Class D) with a clean driving record.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Excellent and well-mannered driving skills, with good knowledge of Klang Valley roads and major routes to outstation destinations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and a professional working attitude.
• Adaptable and able to manage changing situations in order to meet commitments and deadlines.
• Able and willing to commit to overtime, including weekends and public holidays, in line with business requirements.
• Willing to travel outstation as and when required.
• Trustworthy, discreet and able to maintain the confidentiality of Company and Management matters.
• Physically fit and able to assist with the loading and unloading of goods.
