Responsibilities
Job Summary
Lead and supervise electrical staff to ensure timely, safe, and code-compliant installation and maintenance of electrical systems. Manage schedules, troubleshoot system failures, and collaborate with project stakeholders to deliver high-quality electrical work.
Responsibilities
Design and implement work schedules to optimize electrical staff productivity and project timelines
Motivate and assist electrical staff to maintain high performance and morale
Inspect and assess electrical work to ensure compliance with design schematics and quality standards
Read and interpret design schematics to verify correct installation of electrical systems
Troubleshoot major system failures and equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime
Repair and maintain electrical equipment to ensure operational reliability
Oversee purchasing and maintenance of electrical equipment to support site operations
Ensure all electrical work is completed on schedule and complies with relevant codes
Maintain a safe and clean work environment to uphold workplace safety standards
Consult with builders, architects, and other on-site personnel to coordinate electrical work
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in electrical engineering or a related field
Proven work experience as an electrical supervisor
Strong leadership and managerial skills to effectively guide teams
In-depth knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
Excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
Familiarity with state electrical and safety codes to ensure compliance
Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex electrical issues
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in electrical work
