Job Summary
Lead quality control initiatives by developing and executing inspection and testing plans, analyzing data to prevent defects, and collaborating with production teams to ensure compliance and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute quality control plans, including inspections, testing, and monitoring procedures to ensure product quality
Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions that prevent defects and improve processes
Collaborate with production teams to investigate and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively
Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements
Provide technical support and training to production staff on quality control best practices to enhance team capabilities
Document quality-related processes and maintain detailed, accurate records for traceability and review
Continuously identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and quality enhancement
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Degree in Quality, Electrical & Electronics, or equivalent
At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role and industry
Strong understanding of quality management principles, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing techniques
Proficiency in quality control tools and software such as SPC, Lean Six Sigma, and quality management systems
Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 and TS16949 standards
Strong leadership qualities and management skills
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
Willing to be permanently based in Bintan
