Role Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing multi-store operations and ensuring operational excellence across assigned regions. This role acts as the key link between HQ strategy and store-level execution, driving performance, compliance, and people capability across the network.

You will lead Store Managers, optimise processes, and ensure all outlets operate in line with Luckin Coffee’s brand standards, SOPs, and commercial objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesMulti-Store Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple outlets, ensuring consistency in service, product quality, and brand standards.
  • Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost control across stores.
  • Ensure smooth execution of new store openings, relocations, and operational rollouts.

Performance & Commercial Management

  • Monitor and analyse store KPIs including sales, labour cost, food cost, shrinkage, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
  • Work closely with Finance and HQ teams to support budgeting and profitability targets.

People Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers.
  • Ensure strong manpower planning, succession planning, and leadership pipeline.
  • Drive engagement, discipline, and performance management in line with company policies.

Standards, SOP & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to operational SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular store audits and operational reviews.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance store operations and customer experience.

Stakeholder & HQ Collaboration

  • Act as the key point of contact between stores and HQ functions (HR, Training, Supply Chain, Marketing).
  • Support implementation of brand initiatives, promotions, and system enhancements.
  • Provide timely operational insights, reports, and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in multi-unit retail or F&B operations management.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end store operations, KPIs, and P&L drivers.
  • Proven leadership capability managing large, frontline teams.
  • Highly organised, data-driven, and hands-on problem solver.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage).
  • Willing to travel frequently and support operations across multiple locations.
