Accounts cum Admin Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts cum Admin Executive to support the day-to-day accounting and administrative operations of the company.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working independently, keeping things organised, and ensuring that financial records and office processes run smoothly. You will be involved across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, month-end support and general administration.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Handle day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on payments where required.
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Perform bank, payment, supplier and customer account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support preparation of schedules and documentation for audits.
- Assist with GST reporting and submission preparation where required.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and supporting records.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, banks and external accountants/auditors on accounting matters.
- Assist management with basic financial reports and other ad-hoc accounting duties.
Administration & Office Support
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the company.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of contracts, invoices, correspondence and company records.
- Handle office supplies, purchases and coordination with vendors/service providers.
- Assist with preparation of quotations, contracts, forms and other business documents.
- Coordinate appointments, deliveries and general office matters where necessary.
- Support internal teams with administrative requests.
- Ensure confidential company and financial information is handled appropriately.
- Perform other administrative duties and ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Approximately 1–3 years of relevant accounting and/or administrative experience preferred.
- Practical experience with AP, AR, invoicing and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems such as SAP, Xero, QuickBooks or similar platformswill be advantageous.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Able to work independently while supporting the wider team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, proactive and willing to take ownership of assigned duties.
