Job Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our Banking Technology team. The role focuses on Customer Account Onboarding and Servicing Journeys, supporting the delivery and enhancement of digital banking experiences across multiple banking products and channels.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and operations teams to define requirements, optimize customer journeys, and deliver scalable technology solutions that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirement gathering and analysis with business stakeholders across retail banking onboarding and servicing journeys.
• Understand and document customer onboarding processes for various retail banking products, including:
  • Savings Accounts
  • Current Accounts
  • Fixed Deposits
  • Cards
  • Digital Banking Services
  • Other retail banking products and services
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows (BRD/FRD).
• Analyze current customer journeys and identify opportunities for process optimization and digitization.
• Perform gap analysis between existing platforms and target-state solutions.
• Work closely with UX, product, and technology teams to ensure seamless onboarding and servicing experiences.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to define scalable and technically feasible solutions.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production implementation activities.
• Facilitate grooming sessions, requirement walkthroughs, and stakeholder alignment workshops.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS, and internal governance requirements within onboarding processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong domain knowledge of Retail Banking Account Onboarding and Customer Servicing Journeys.
• Hands-on experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including backlog management, user story creation, and sprint grooming.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively.
• Understanding of API integrations, system interfaces, and digital banking platforms.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in digital onboarding, eKYC, AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS, and customer due diligence processes.
• Familiarity with retail banking channels such as Branch, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and Contact Centre platforms.
• Experience working on customer servicing capabilities such as profile maintenance, account updates, product fulfillment, and digital self-service journeys.
• Exposure to workflow and process orchestration platforms used in onboarding and servicing ecosystems.
• Knowledge of Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and basic system integration concepts.
• Experience working with cloud-native and microservices-based architectures is an advantage.
• Understanding of AI/GenAI-enabled customer onboarding or servicing solutions is a plus.
