About the role
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to support customer acquisition, manage OEM/private label projects, and drive business growth. This role requires someone who enjoys working with customers, coordinating cross-functional teams, solving problems, and taking ownership of projects from enquiry to commercialization.
Key responsibilities
Identify and develop new OEM/private label business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Manage assigned OEM projects from enquiry to commercial launch.
Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, QA, Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics) to ensure projects are completed on time.
Prepare quotations, product proposals, and support commercial discussions.
Follow up on customer enquiries, samples, quotations, and project progress.
Conduct market research and identify potential customers and business opportunities.
Prepare weekly project updates, sales reports, and business forecasts.
Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and factory visits when required.
Identify issues, propose solutions, and drive actions to completion.
About you
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or related fields
1–3 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, account management, or FMCG/food manufacturing.
Experience in OEM/private label, B2B sales, or food manufacturing is an added advantage.
Fluent in Mandarin and English (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders)
Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong planning, coordination, and project management skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend practical solutions.
Detail-oriented with good follow-up and organizational skills.
Customer-focused with a commercial mindset.
Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Fresh graduates with strong internship experience and excellent learning attitude may also be considered.1–3 years of experience in FMCG sales and OEM business development.
