Position: Kitchen Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our café kitchen team.

Key responsibilities:

* Assist with food preparation and basic cooking.

* Prepare ingredients according to recipes and instructions.

* Assist the Cook during service.

* Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas.

* Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.

* Assist with receiving and organising kitchen supplies.

* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.

* Minimise food wastage and support smooth daily kitchen operations.

REQUIREMENTS

* No prior experience required; training will be provided.

* Basic interest in food preparation and kitchen operations.

* Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

* Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work.

* Reliable, punctual and responsible.

* Good team player with a positive attitude.

* Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

* Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage.
