Job Description
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation and procurement execution
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and service agreements to achieve cost efficiency and business objectives
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, pricing and invoices
- Forecast purchasing needs and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
- Analyze market trends and purchasing data to recommend improvements and optimize procurement strategies
- Coordinate inbound shipments from local/overseas suppliers and manage the import documentation
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and documentation
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulations and quality standards
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
- Min. 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of heavy vehicles, machinery and spare parts is an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
- Excellent negotiation, communication and problem solving skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Able to work independently in fast-paced and dynamic work environment
