Role Description The Production Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Pioneer, supporting daily manufacturing operations on the production floor. This position assists with setting up workstations, preparing materials, and monitoring production processes to ensure schedules are met and safety procedures are followed. The role includes performing basic quality checks, documenting production data, and collaborating with supervisors and machine operators to resolve issues quickly. The Production Assistant may also help with packaging, labeling, and coordinating with internal teams to meet customer requirements and maintain orderly inventory and workspace conditions.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Production skills, including supporting manufacturing workflows, handling materials, and following standard operating procedures.
  • Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, such as performing visual inspections, checking measurements, and documenting findings to maintain ISO-compliant standards.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service and Teamwork skills, demonstrating clear communication, reliability, and collaboration with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess basic Editing skills for accurately updating production records, job travelers, and quality documentation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or plastics is beneficial.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights safely, and follow safety and cleanliness guidelines.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, plastics, or a regulated industry (medical, semiconductor, aerospace) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
