Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Application Specialist role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, with some flexibility for work from home. The Application Specialist will provide technical and application support for Biolitec’s laser and fiber systems, assisting healthcare professionals with product setup, configuration, and optimal usage in clinical environments. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting application issues, responding to customer inquiries, and coordinating with internal technical and engineering teams to resolve complex problems. The role involves delivering product demonstrations, user training, and guidance on best practices to support safe and effective clinical use. The Application Specialist will also document support activities, track recurring issues, and contribute feedback to improve products, services, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret user issues, clinical workflows, and system performance data.
• Candidates should possess Application Support and Technical Support skills to assist customers with system usage, configuration, and incident resolution.
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose technical and application-related problems and implement effective solutions.
• Candidates should possess Communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly, deliver training, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or clinical applications support is beneficial.
• A diploma or degree in engineering, biomedical sciences, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in WP. Kuala Lumpur, manage time independently, and travel to customer sites when required.
• Comfort with documentation, reporting, and use of support or CRM systems is an advantage.
