What this job involves: The Regional HSSE Lead is responsible for leading and managing Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs across the APAC account portfolio. The role partners closely with client stakeholders, JLL operational teams, Facilities Management, Project Development Services, Procurement, Finance, and supply chain partners to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in workplace HSSE performance

To uphold this image, the person in charge will focus mainly on monitoring workplace EHS through total compliance with government and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
HSSE Leadership & Governance
Design, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of HSSE programs across the account

Provide subject matter expertise and professional guidance on HSSE management to all organizational levels.

Establish Health Safety working groups and Committee Meetings asper the national requirements

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve HSSE management systems aligned with JLL and client requirements

Promote a proactive and positive HSSE culture throughout the organization

Support operational teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and client HSSE standards

Risk Management & Compliance
Guide Facilities Managers in conducting competent HSSE risk assessments and implementing effective controls

Ensure completion and maintenance of HSSE documentation including risk assessments, method statements, and statutory records

Conduct project site audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across the account portfolio

Analyze HSSE performance trends and provide regular risk management reports to Account Leadership

Participate in cross-account audits within the JLL business

Incident Management & Reporting
Review and investigate accidents and incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Prepare monthly HSSE performance reports, including accident and incident statistics.

Identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities to strengthen HSSE performance.

Training & Stakeholder Management
Develop and implement HSSE training and awareness programs.

Lead Health and Safety Champion initiatives across the region.

Provide updates and training on legislative and regulatory changes impacting account operations.

Build effective working relationships with senior leadership, clients, operational teams, and contractors.

Contractor & Supply Chain Management
Support Procurement in evaluating and accrediting contractors and suppliers for work within client properties.

Ensure contractors comply with established HSSE standards and procedures.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Drive technology-enabled efficiencies and service improvements within HSSE operations.

Maintain professional development and stay current with industry legislation and best practices

Deliver operational and personal objectives in alignment with JLL performance expectations

Required Skills & Competencies
Results-oriented with strong focus on operational delivery and performance outcomes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities

Ability to identify trends, root causes, and practical solutions

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools

Strong audit, investigation, and compliance management skills

Ability to work independently and within multicultural regional teams

Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree in Health, Safety, or Environmental disciplines

Minimum 15 years of HSSE experience in Facilities Management, Project Management, HSSE Consultancy, or similar client-facing environments

Proven experience implementing HSSE management systems and achieving external accreditation standards.

Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required

Experience working in multi-country or regional roles, preferably within Financial Institutions.

Chartered Membership of IOSH or equivalent professional certification.

HSSE Lead Auditor qualification.
