Location: Kulim, Kedah / Penang
Salary: RM2,000 – RM2,500 (Starting Salary)
Work Arrangement: Site-Based & Travelling

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance with Company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health requirements.
• Conduct regular workplace and site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor employees' compliance with PPE and safety procedures.
• Assist in conducting toolbox meetings, safety briefings and OSH awareness programmes.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining OSH documentation, including HIRARC, inspection checklists, training records and safety reports.
• Assist in the investigation and reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Monitor housekeeping and general safety conditions at workplace and project sites.
• Monitor contractors and visitors to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions arising from inspections and incidents.
• Liaise with project/site teams on safety-related matters.
• Willing to travel to various project sites. Accommodation will be provided for outstation assignments, with fuel, toll and parking expenses claimable for work-related travel.
• Perform other OSH-related duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a valid OSH Coordinator (OSH-C) certificate/qualification.
• Must possess a valid CIDB Green Card.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant OSH / site safety experience. Fresh graduates with relevant OSH qualifications may also be considered.
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety requirements, HIRARC and site safety practices.
• Good communication skills and able to work with site/project teams.
• Willing to travel to different project sites, including Melaka and other locations.
• Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation is an advantage.
• Candidates who can start immediately are highly preferred.

Note: This is a Non-YB / Non-SHO position.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kulim
