Asta Chemicals Hiring! Full Time Senior Maintenance Technician in Pulau Pinang, Earn up to MYR 3,600 - Ricebowl

Job Responsilities:-

• Upkeep and maintenance of all mechanically operated machines including piping and installation.
• Fabricate required spare parts and special tools required for maintenance and repairs are included as part of the responsibility.
• Adhere to set maintenance procedures to minimize production down time caused by breakdown of machineries.
• Coordinate effectively with production staffs for timely and effective performance of planned preventive maintenance
• Perform preventive maintenance for machines and pipe lines efficiently and effectively.
• Carry out prompt and effective corrective actions on all breakdown calls
• Fabricate/modify/alter parts to make good for use on machinery
• Ensure assigned works/tasks are sufficiently and promptly fulfilled
• Carry out approved modification and improvement efficiently and effectively according to planned schedule.
• Follow-up closely for delivery of replacement parts and make good the condition when replacement parts are received.
• Assist to inspect quality of work carried out by contractor and provide prompt feedback for necessary actions.
• Prepare proper record and/or report for all work carried out into Daily Report/ Log Book .
• Ensure tools, equipment and spare parts are always placed at allocated location.
• Exercise good care and perform proper upkeep on all maintenance tools and equipment provided.
• Implement 5S practices effectively within the section
• Comply with safety, health and environmental rulings and procedures.
• Provide proper guidance to Technicians and Junior Technician to troubleshoot and overcome machine problems speedily and effectively (applicable to Senior Maintenance Technicians only).
• Execute work request order in absence of supervisor.

Job Requirements:-

• Possess minimum a Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) or Vocational certificate (SPVM) in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent. Those with higher qualifications would be considered for position in higher grades.
• At least 1 year (5 years for Senior Maintenance Technician) working experience in similar capacity preferably in a petrochemical, oleo-chemical or chemical plant. Candidates with longer and more extensive experience and skills in the related field would be considered for position in higher grades.
• Experience in troubleshooting machines problems, machining and fabrication of fixtures for machinery would be of added advantage.
• Healthy and not a handicap person.
• Good hearing and no color blindness.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,600.00 per month
