Solutions Consultant — Inventory / POS

Are you a Solutions Consultant who understands how retail systems actually work?

We're looking for a Solutions Consultant to bridge the gap between customers, business processes, integrations and Engineering at Xilnex.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in POS / inventory / ERP implementation who enjoys understanding customer requirements, designing solutions, managing integrations and turning business needs into clear system requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead customer discovery sessions and translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
• Scope and manage POS, inventory, sales and system integration projects from requirements through delivery.
• Prepare SOWs, functional specifications, solution proposals and change requests.
• Advise customers and partners on integration approaches such as REST API, webhooks, file/CSV and database connectors.
• Work with Engineering and Product to validate technical feasibility, resolve issues and drive deliverables to completion.
• Support presales demos and solution presentations, acting as the bridge between Sales, customers and technical teams.
• Research and support regional tax, e-invoicing and compliance requirements across Southeast Asian markets.

• GRN / Goods Receipt
• PRN / Purchase Return
• Stock Transfer
• Stock Adjustment
• Stock Take / Stock Count

Sales & Finance

• Sales process lifecycle
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Basic accounting principles

What we're looking for

Must-have

• 2+ years in Inventory/POS solutions consulting, system implementation or a similar role.
• Working knowledge of system integration, including API and file-based integration.
• Comfortable leading technical discussions with customers, partners and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of inventory, sales and AR processes.
• Experience managing change requests or project deliverables end-to-end.
• Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Good to have

• Experience in SaaS, POS, ERP or retail technology.
• Experience preparing SOWs or functional specifications.
• Knowledge of tax / e-invoicing frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of IT, hardware, networking and programming logic.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Asana.
• Mandarin is an advantage.
