Responsibilities

Maintain and update all security documentation, record book, duty rosters and report

Ensure all security, car park, visitor management and emergency contingency plans and procedures are properly implemented

Assist in conducting security audits as required to ensure compliance with hotel policies and regulatory standards.

Report security concerns and coordinate with relevant authorities (e.g. Singapore Police Force, SCDF and Singapore Hotel Association) as directed by superiors.

Attend daily roll calls and briefing before deployment

Conduct security patrols and perform clocking duties in accordance with assigned routes and schedules

Monitor and managed access control, bag checks/screening and door ajar situations

Carry out escorting duties, including:

Escorting of contractors working on-site

Escorting of staff to designated locations to safeguard cash, valuable and personnel

Assisting with guest room safe resets in cases of lockout or malfunction

Prepare detailed incident reports and manage follow-up actions to resolve security issues

Performing guest room door battery resets when doors are unresponsive due to low power

Respond promptly to fire alarms, hotel safe box incidents, door security concerns, and lost and found cases

Handles facility access management, including accountability for security equipment and keys during shifts

Required competencies and certifications

Hold a valid Private Licensed Security Agency (PLRD) license

Possess First Aid certification

Ability to work shifts and weekends as required

Relevant experience in hotel security operations
