We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead a team across web and mobile applications, with a strong focus on the banking domain. You need to lead a team across web and mobile applications, with a strong focus on the banking domain. This role combines functional testing leadership, API validation, test planning, execution tracking, defect triage, and stakeholder reporting, ensuring quality across all delivery streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Functional Testing Oversight: Lead functional testing across web and mobile applications, ensuring requirements are validated and critical banking workflows perform reliably.
• API Testing & Validation: Oversee API testing (REST/JSON/XML), including integration with payment gateways, core banking systems, and mobile wallets. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Test Planning & Execution: Prepare detailed test plans, define scope, and track execution across manual and automated testing. Ensure coverage of regression, performance, and compliance scenarios.
• Defect Triage & Reporting: Conduct daily triage sessions with QA teams and developers, prioritize defects, and ensure timely resolution. Report daily progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and developers to validate requirements, manage UAT, and ensure compliance with banking standards.
• Team Leadership: Mentor Senior QA Engineers, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.
• Tool & Process Management: Utilize Zephyr or equivalent test management software to plan, track, and report test execution. Explore new QA tools and techniques to enhance efficiency.

Prerequisites

• 7+ years of QA experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in functional and API testing for web and mobile applications.
• Experience in the banking/financial services domain.
• Proficiency in test management tools (Zephyr, Jira, or equivalent).
• Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress) and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to report progress and risks clearly to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
