P2P Senior Analyst


Location: Kuala Lumpur

Working Hours: AEDT Time Zone (Australia / New Zealand)

Experience: 4+ years in P2P

Language: Mandarin is mandatory

Employment Type: Full-time


We are currently looking for an experienced P2P Senior Analyst to join a finance operations team based in Kuala Lumpur.


This is a great opportunity for someone with strong P2P knowledge who enjoys working across finance operations, handling stakeholders and contributing to process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily finance activities across the Purchase-to-Pay cycle.
  • Ensure invoices, payments and related transactions are processed accurately and on time.
  • Follow up on pending items and investigate discrepancies or exceptions.
  • Assist with resolving more complex P2P issues and stakeholder enquiries.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external parties to resolve operational matters.
  • Support finance reporting, reconciliations, audits and general documentation.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend ways to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Assist with finance system changes, testing and automation projects when required.
  • Share knowledge and provide support to junior team members.
  • Manage priorities effectively while working within agreed timelines and service standards.
  • Support regional finance operations covering Australia and New Zealand.


Requirements

  • 4+ years of P2P experience.
  • Experience in an SSC, shared services or BPO environment is preferred.
  • Diploma, Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of P2P processes and finance systems.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Mandarin proficiency is a MUST as the role involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Exposure to process improvement, automation or finance transformation is an advantage.
  • Experience supporting Australia / New Zealand operations is an advantage.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Navision or Facility Management is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working according to the AEDT time zone.
