Position: Customer Service / Operations Executive – Logistics (Oil & Gas)

Experience: Ideally 2–5 years in freight forwarding, project logistics, oil & gas logistics, shipping, or transportation.

Education: Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Maritime, or related field.

Strong experience in the full job cycle: customer enquiry → rate sourcing → quotation → booking → shipment coordination → documentation → job costing → billing/invoicing → job closure.

Able to obtain and compare rates from shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, transporters, warehouses, customs agents and other vendors.

Familiar with sea freight, air freight, trucking/land transport and preferably project/cross-border shipments.

Oil & gas exposure is a major advantage, especially handling urgent shipments, offshore/project cargo, dangerous goods, equipment, machinery, batteries or special cargo.

Understands common documents such as BL, AWB, commercial invoice, packing list, delivery order, customs documents and POD.

Commercially alert—the candidate should understand cost, selling price, margin and job profitability, not simply process paperwork.

Able to prepare quotations quickly and follow up customers professionally.

Good at coordinating between customer, sales, operations, vendors, warehouse, transporter and finance.

Able to monitor shipment status and proactively update customers instead of waiting for customers to chase.

Careful with billing: verify supplier costs, agreed selling rates, additional charges and supporting documents before invoicing.

Strong English communication is important; Bahasa Malaysia is also useful.

Should be comfortable working under pressure because O&G logistics can involve urgent requests and last-minute changes
