Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking an engaging and hands-on Chocolate Workshop Facilitator to lead chocolate-making workshops and guided experiences for visitors of all ages — including walk-in guests, school groups, corporate teams, and private bookings. The ideal candidate is confident speaking to groups, genuinely enjoys teaching, and can turn a simple activity into a memorable brand experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and facilitate hands-on chocolate-making workshops (e.g., moulding, tempering, decorating) for guests of varying ages and group sizes
  • Deliver clear, engaging instructions and narrate the chocolate-making/brand story in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Set up and manage workshop stations, ingredients, tools, and materials before and after each session
  • Ensure hygiene, food safety, and safety protocols are followed throughout sessions
  • Manage workshop bookings, group check-ins, and timing to keep sessions running smoothly
  • Handle guest questions, troubleshoot on the spot, and maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere
  • Support inventory tracking for workshop supplies and flag restocking needs
  • Assist with occasional promotional or brand events, photo/video content for social media, and school/corporate outreach
  • Collect guest feedback and suggest improvements to workshop content and flow

Requirements

  • Prior experience in F&B, hospitality, education, events, or customer-facing roles (chocolate/culinary background a plus, not required)
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups, including children
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken)
  • Friendly, patient, and energetic personality with strong communication skills
  • Able to work weekends/public holidays as workshops are often scheduled around peak visitor times
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene practices

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
