Key Responsibilities: -

1. Purchase Requisition & Order Processing

• Assist in preparing and processing Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO)
• Ensure PR/PO are accurate, complete, and comply with internal approval workflow

2. Vendor Sourcing & Coordination

• Assist in identifying and sourcing potential suppliers/vendors
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers for pricing, quality, and delivery terms
• Support vendor communication for order confirmation, delivery schedules, and follow-ups

3. Documentation & Record-Keeping

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of procurement records (PO, invoices, delivery orders, contracts)
• Update procurement tracking sheets/system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or internal ERP)

4. Price & Market Analysis

• Assist in basic market research and price benchmarking for goods/services
• Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying alternative suppliers or bulk purchase opportunities.

5. Inventory & Delivery Coordination

• Liaise with warehouse/store personnel to confirm stock levels and delivery status
• Follow up on delayed deliveries or discrepancies between PO and Goods Received Note (GRN)

6. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure procurement activities comply with Company policies, procurement SOP, and relevant regulations
• Assist in preparing procurement reports (monthly spend, vendor performance, savings tracking).

7. Administrative Support

• Support the Procurement team in general administrative tasks related to sourcing and purchasing
• Participate in supplier evaluation and audit processes when required

Requirements: -

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
• Fresh graduate or with less than 1 year of working experience 
• Malaysian citizen, CGPA as per programme requirement (typically minimum 3.0)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Able to join immediately would be an added advantage
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
