Education:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Skill:

• Strong knowledge in formulation development and raw material selection for personal care, skin care, and home care products.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for formulation- and process-related issues.
• Able to conduct experiments, test new materials, and analyses chemical compounds to support quality control activities.
• Basic understanding of GMP, ISO, and product compliance requirements.
• Good documentation, record-keeping, and report writing skills.
• Able to work independently with guidance and as part of a team.

Experience:

• Min 3 years of experience in R&D, laboratory, or manufacturing environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in product development, reformulation, and improvement of existing formulations according to project requirements and cost targets.
• Conduct laboratory testing such as basic stability, compatibility, and performance tests under supervision.
• Support scale-up trials and assist in coordination with Production during pilot and commercial batch trials.
• Prepare and maintain basic technical documentation including formulation records, test results, and reports.
• Ensure all laboratory work and development activities comply with internal procedures, GMP requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Assist in raw material evaluation and sample preparation.
• Support continuous improvement, troubleshooting, and innovation activities within the R&D department.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Perform any other R&D-related duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
