Shipping Assistant is responsible for ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, preparing shipping documentation, and resolving any issues related to shipping and delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.

• Confirm the cargo readiness date and the quantity of containers needed for shipment to ensure efficient shipping operations.
• Communicate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely preparation of cargo for shipment.
• Confirm the dimensions of the cargo and decide on an appropriate pallet size to maximize space utilization, ensure safe and efficient transportation
• Ensure that all packaging meets the required standards and specifications for safe shipping.
• Prepare and verify essential shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, shipping marks, and insurance documents.
• Ensure all documents are accurate and comply with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with various shipping companies and freight forwarders to arrange for the pickup or delivery of goods.
• Maintain regular communication with forwarders and transporters to ensure timely and efficient shipping.
• Address any issues or delays and keep customers informed related to shipping and delivery, working proactively to resolve problems and minimize disruptions.
• Compare and negotiate rates from different forwarders and transporters to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
