About the Role

We are seeking a well-rounded Tax Manager who is capable of leading and developing a team while providing high-quality tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical tax expertise, be confident in advising clients on complex tax matters, and demonstrate a proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory services on matters including transfer pricing, tax incentives, withholding tax, tax deductibility, Sales and Service Tax (SST), and other Malaysian tax-related issues.
  
• Manage tax compliance timelines and ensure all statutory deadlines are met.
  
• Liaise closely with clients and the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) on tax-related matters and correspondence.
  
• Review tax computations and filings prepared by audit and tax team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  
• Lead, coach, and mentor tax professionals to support their technical and career development.
  
• Monitor team performance and ensure quality service delivery.
  
• Conduct internal tax training sessions to enhance the team's technical capabilities.
  
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing practical and commercially sound tax solutions.
  
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  
• Sound technical knowledge of Malaysian taxation, including corporate tax and tax advisory.
  
• Working knowledge of Sales and Service Tax (SST).
  
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team.
  
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CTIM, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.
  
• Confident, proactive, and client-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and a willingness to continuously learn and grow professionally.
