The Senior Quantity Surveyor is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. The individual will manage cost planning and control across demolition, earthworks, and civil works projects, including preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tender documents, and cost estimates. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking project budgets, monitoring cost variations, preparing progress and final accounts, and issuing regular cost reports to project stakeholders. The role involves liaising with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, evaluating claims and variations, and ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also support continuous improvement in cost efficiency and provide guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications

• Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning skills.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying documentation, including BOQ preparation, tender measurement, and cost Reporting.
• Experience in construction, preferably in demolition, earthworks, or civil engineering projects in Singapore.
• Knowledge of local building regulations, BCA requirements, and standard construction contracts.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and quantity surveying software; ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in costing.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
