About the Roles
Join as a Logistics & Warehouse Executive based in Tuas, with transportation provided from Jurong East MRT. This is a permanent position on a 5.5-day work schedule, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturday from 7.30am to 11.30am. The role offers an attractive package comprising Basic + Performance Bonus + AWS.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate import and export shipments and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Prepare shipping instructions, VGM, Bills of Lading, LOA, and other relevant shipping documents.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, suppliers, customers, and authorities on shipment matters.
- Track shipment progress and prepare customs clearance documents when required.
- Monitor shipment schedules and follow up promptly on outstanding or pending documents.
- Manage Incoterms and coordinate suitable transport arrangements for shipments.
- Plan daily delivery schedules according to customer orders and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with transporters and drivers to support timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor delivery status and resolve transport-related issues as they arise.
- Prepare customer invoices accurately and within the required timelines.
- Maintain organised records for shipping, deliveries, billing, and warehouse activities.
- Coordinate incoming shipments with receiving and warehouse teams to ensure smooth handling.
- Prepare warehouse and inventory reports as required.
- Support stock takes and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate stock discrepancies when identified.
- Carry out other duties assigned as part of operational requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, import/export, or warehouse administration.
- Practical experience handling import/export documentation and coordinating shipments.
- Familiarity with Bills of Lading, VGM, shipping instructions, LOA, Incoterms, and customs clearance documents.
- Experience coordinating local deliveries and truck schedules.
