Responsibilities
Design Coordinator
Role Overview
The Design Coordinator supports the Design Project Manager (DPM) during the early design stage, acting as a key
communication, coordination, and information management point
between internal design teams and international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Support the DPM with day-to-day project coordination and communication with international clients, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Manage early-stage
document control
, including the classification, filing, tracking, and maintenance of project correspondence, technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
Prepare, maintain, and distribute
meeting minutes and project documentation
.
Coordinate drawing formats, documentation standards, and information requirements between internal design teams and external consultants.
Ensure project information is communicated accurately and efficiently across different teams.
Support the DPM with project tracking, follow-ups, and other coordination activities.
Perform other project administration and documentation duties as required.
Requirements
Educational or professional background in
Architecture, Structural Engineering, Façade Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related discipline
.
Able to read and understand
technical drawings and engineering documentation
.
Strong organisational and document management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Experience in
engineering/design document control
or a similar project coordination role is an advantage.
Experience working with
international consultants, architects, or construction/design teams
is preferred.
