Job Summary
The Assistant Performance Artiste Manager supports the day-to-day management of performance artistes (musicians, dancers, actors, singers, and other performing talent) under the agency's roster. This role works closely with the Senior Artiste Manager to coordinate bookings, schedules, contracts, and artiste welfare, ensuring smooth execution of performances, rehearsals, and public engagements while helping to build and protect each artiste's brand and career.
Key Responsibilities
Artiste Coordination & Scheduling
Manage and update artistes' calendars, including rehearsals, performances, media appearances, and promotional events
Coordinate logistics such as transport, accommodation, costumes, and equipment for engagements
Liaise with event organisers, production teams, and venues to confirm performance requirements and technical riders
Bookings & Contracts
Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and securing performance opportunities and engagements
Prepare and review contracts, invoices, and performance agreements under guidance from the Senior Manager
Track payment schedules, deposits, and outstanding fees related to bookings
Artiste Support & Relationship Management
Act as a day-to-day point of contact for artistes, addressing queries and resolving scheduling conflicts
Support artistes' wellbeing by monitoring workload and flagging concerns to senior management
Build and maintain strong working relationships with artistes, their families (where relevant), and support staff (choreographers, stylists, vocal coaches, etc.)
Marketing & Brand Support
Assist in planning and executing promotional activities, including social media content, press engagements, and public relations opportunities
Coordinate with marketing and communications teams on artiste branding, image, and publicity materials
Monitor media coverage and public sentiment relating to managed artistes
Administrative & Operational Support
Maintain accurate artiste records, including performance history, availability, and contact details
Prepare reports on artiste activities, engagement performance, and revenue for senior management review
Support budgeting and expense tracking for artiste-related activities
Requirements
Skills & Attributes
Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple artiste schedules simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with artistes and stakeholders
Good negotiation skills and basic understanding of contracts and entertainment industry agreements
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through on logistics and administrative tasks
Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure, including during last-minute changes
Passion for the performing arts and familiarity with the local entertainment/events industry is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; familiarity with scheduling or CRM tools is an advantage
Working Conditions
Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to support performances and events
