Responsibilities
Location: Bukit Batok Care Home
Handyman Functions:
Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices, clean facilities and managing maintenance repairs
Perform repair works on appliances except medical equipment under preventive maintenance
Detect, report and monitor the needs for major maintenance work
Regularly check Care Home to identify issues with litter, mechanical failure or breakdowns
Respond to the clinical team request for repair and maintenance in a timely and professional manner
Repair plumbing, electrical and safety system in alignment to the requirement in consultation with appointed Hard FM vendor
Maintain the cleanliness of outside, spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks with appointed Soft FM vendor
Oversee the sprinkler system and trash containers in the company premises in consultation with appointed Hard FM vendor
Conduct routine performance checks on company assets such as refrigerators, microwaves, oven, wheelchairs, commodes etc.
Provide support and guidance to the clinical team on maintaining their equipment in consultation with relevant equipment suppliers/ manufacturers
Educational Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role
Experience in plumbing and electrical system
Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment
Extremely organized with good communication skills
Self-motivated and committed
Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem solving
Good team player

We plan to operate five nursing homes by 2020, with approximately 1,000 beds for patients entitled to medical subsidies.
