About the Role
The Videographer cum Digital Content Creator is responsible for producing high-quality, performance-driven short-form video content across e-commerce platforms, social media, marketplaces, and affiliate channels.
This role supports brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue performance by delivering a consistent stream of engaging, conversion-focused video content for campaigns, product launches, live commerce, and always-on social media initiatives.
You will work closely with the Content Strategy, Creative, and Marketing teams to bring ideas from concept to execution—turning trends, insights, and briefs into scroll-stopping content.
Job Responsibilities
Content Creation & Creative Execution
- Plan, script, film, and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Shopee Video, paid ads, and other social platforms
- Produce a variety of content formats, including product demos, lifestyle routines, UGC-style videos, before-and-after content, and livestream support assets
- Translate briefs into engaging, trend-aware, and conversion-focused video concepts
- Manage in-house filming setups, ensuring proper lighting, framing, audio, and basic styling
- Continuously adapt and optimise content based on platform trends, performance data, and audience insights
- Repurpose long-form footage into multiple short-form assets to maximise content output and efficiency
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and visual standards
- Contribute fresh creative ideas, formats, and storytelling approaches to keep content relevant and engaging
- Assist with livestream setup, content planning, and on-site execution when required
- Appear in videos when the content calls for it
Who’s There to Support You?
- You will work closely with the Content Strategy & Production team for direction and support—from brainstorming ideas to executing shoots
- You will also receive guidance from the Marketing team, ensuring content resonates with the right audience across different platforms
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in videography, content creation, or related roles
- Strong video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- Comfortable with mobile and mirrorless camera shooting setups
- Good understanding of TikTok trends, short-form storytelling, and AI content tools
- Basic knowledge of lighting, framing, and audio setup
- Comfortable appearing on camera when needed
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage)
- Bonus: Experience in livestream production or live commerce content

- Candidates are encouraged to submit a portfolio showcasing relevant video projects and content work
- Portfolios should include examples of short-form videos, editing styles, storytelling approaches, and any commercial or campaign-based work where applicable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
