Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Alternate Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced and technically capable Senior CAD Draftsperson / BIM Modeller to join the Design & Technical team.

Candidates with experience in civil infrastructure, tunnelling, underground structures, roads, bridges, metro, railways or other major infrastructure projects are highly encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. CAD Drafting & BIM Modelling

• Prepare accurate and detailed 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models for civil and structural projects.
• Develop drawings for various project stages, including:
• Tender
• Preliminary design
• Detailed design
• Construction
• Shop drawings
• As-built drawings
• Develop, modify and update drawings based on the latest engineering information, site conditions and design changes.
• Ensure drawings and models are prepared according to project specifications, standards and requirements.
• Produce drawings using AutoCAD AEC and Revit.

2. Technical & Construction Drawings

• Prepare detailed schematic, design, construction and shop drawings.
• Review and update drawings to reflect the latest revisions and project requirements.
• Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on approved changes and site information.
• Review existing drawings and identify discrepancies or areas requiring clarification.
• Ensure drawings are properly coordinated and suitable for construction purposes.

3. Tender & Proposal Support

• Review tender drawings, including structural and architectural 2D/3D drawings.
• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings for tender submissions, presentations and technical proposals.
• Assist the project and tender teams in developing drawings within tight submission deadlines.
• Ensure tender drawings accurately reflect project requirements and technical specifications.

4. Authority Submission

• Prepare and compile drawings and supporting documentation required for authority submissions.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant submission requirements and project standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and relevant project personnel to incorporate comments and revisions.

5. Design & Engineering Coordination

• Work closely with Design Managers, Engineers, BIM personnel and other project team members.
• Coordinate drawings and BIM models to ensure consistency between different disciplines.
• Assist in identifying and resolving technical, design and drawing-related issues.
• Incorporate engineering changes, comments and revisions into drawings and models.
• Participate in technical coordination discussions and provide drafting/BIM support where required.

6. Project Documentation & Control

• Maintain accurate drawing records, revisions and project documentation.
• Ensure drawings are properly labelled, organised and maintained according to project requirements.
• Follow up consistently on outstanding drawings, revisions and technical issues.
• Ensure all drawings are submitted within agreed timelines and project schedules.
• Handle other project documentation and technical drafting requirements as assigned by Management.

7. Project & Team Support

• Provide technical drafting and BIM support to the project team.
• Assist Engineers and Design Managers in developing practical solutions to technical and design requirements.
• Support the project team during critical project stages and tight submission periods.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma, Certificate or relevant qualification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, BIM, Architecture, Construction or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of solid experience in 2D drafting and BIM modelling within civil infrastructure and construction engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD AEC and Revit is required.
• Good understanding of technical drawings, construction drawings and BIM modelling.
• Experience in civil infrastructure or major construction projects is highly preferred.

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
