JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for all wedding, catering and group sales in the hotel, from booking events to their execution
• Assist Director of Sales & Distribution to prepare departmental budget and forecasts, operating within set parameters, ensure effective cost control
• To establish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, throughout and post-conference, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business.
• Conduct site inspections and sales activities as required.
• To work closely with the Director of Sales & Distribution to prepare monthly forecasts
• To develop the annual business and marketing plan for the department
• Achieves Wedding, Banquet and Catering budgeted set out in the yearly business plan for the hotel.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum education of Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or relevant discipline
• Minimum of 2 years sales experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality, events, catering or related industry.
