Role Description The Revenue Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role is responsible for analyzing revenue streams across property, hospitality, and wellness businesses, tracking performance against targets, and providing insights to optimize pricing, occupancy, and revenue generation. Day-to-day tasks include preparing revenue reports and dashboards, conducting variance and trend analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition in collaboration with finance and accounting teams. The Revenue Analyst will work closely with operations, sales, and management to translate data into actionable recommendations, improve reporting processes, and support strategic decision-making. The role also involves maintaining data integrity, monitoring key performance indicators, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the group’s technology-driven ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, trend analysis, and the ability to generate actionable insights.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance and Accounting skills, with familiarity in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Revenue Recognition, with an understanding of relevant standards and best practices in multi-entity or multi-service environments.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Candidates should ideally have experience in revenue management or financial analysis within property, hospitality, or related sectors.
- Candidates should be proficient in spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, BI dashboards) and comfortable working with large data sets.
- Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
