Job Description:
- Partner with senior management on business planning and strategic initiatives, including feasibility studies, due diligence, financial modelling and cost-benefit assessments.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and funding requirements to support ongoing business operations and growth plans.
- Manage the Group’s financial reporting activities, including preparation and review of management accounts, consolidated financial statements and taxation matters.
- Coordinate statutory audits and ensure timely completion of financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process and present financial plans, projections and key insights to management and shareholders.
- Prepare monthly financial performance reports, providing detailed analysis of actual results against budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management in commercial and strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including matters relating to ACRA, IRAS, BCA, URA and other applicable authorities.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisers, corporate secretaries, banks and relevant government authorities.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial governance and business processes to improve operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
- Review and enhance accounting procedures, financial policies and internal finance manuals to support consistent practices across the organisation.
- Maintain a robust financial control environment across the business and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Oversee Group consolidation and ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information across business entities.
- Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team through coaching, mentoring, performance guidance and structured training.
- Identify capability and development needs within the team and conduct relevant internal training programmes.
- Participate in and support organisation-wide initiatives involving corporate development, quality standards, business excellence and company-wide strategic programmes.
- Undertake other finance-related projects and management responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
- Degree or CA/ ACCA preferred
- Minimum 10 years experience in Property Development & Construction Industry
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
