Requirements
- Fresh graduates with a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance are highly encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as AutoCount or SQL Accounting is a strong advantage.
- High level of accuracy and meticulousness when handling numerical data and financial information.
- Good fundamental problem-solving skills with a strong willingness to learn and develop practical accounting knowledge.
- A collaborative team player who can also take ownership of routine assigned tasks and complete them reliably with minimal supervision.
- Immediate availability or candidates with a short notice period are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in processing daily accounting transactions, including handling invoicing, issuing payments, matching receipts, and updating ledgers.
- Perform routine data entry for financial transactions, ensuring all entries are recorded accurately and on time in the accounting system.
- Assist the senior accounting team with bank reconciliations, monthly closing procedures, and the preparation of basic financial reports.
- Maintain highly organized physical and digital accounting records to ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Monitor accounts for discrepancies, resolve routine payment issues, and escalate complex anomalies to senior finance staff.
- Liaise cooperatively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients regarding standard payment updates and basic accounting inquiries.
- Support the broader finance team with ad-hoc accounting tasks and administrative duties as assigned by management.
