We are looking for a Handyman to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate should be multi-skilled and able to perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work on hotel facilities, equipment, and guest rooms.
• Handle carpentry tasks (repairs, furniture assembly, doors, fittings).
• Conduct plumbing works (pipes, water supply, drainage, sanitary fittings).
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems (air-conditioning, heating, and ventilation).
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs (lighting, power supply, wiring).
• Conduct painting, plastering, and basic masonry work when required.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to schedule to minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and departments.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely stored.
• Assist with setting up equipment or facilities for hotel functions and events.
• Follow health, safety, and hotel standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Handyman/Technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general repair work.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely.
• Basic knowledge of painting, tiling, and welding is an added advantage.
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and plans.
• Physically fit and able to handle lifting or manual tasks when needed.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency call-outs.
• Minimum education: Technical/vocational certificate or equivalent.
