Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Engineer role based in Damansara and project sites at Johor. The HVAC Engineer will design, review, and optimize HVAC systems for commercial and industrial facilities, ensuring energy-efficient operation aligned with KJTS Group’s cooling energy solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and updating HVAC design drawings using CAD tools, performing system calculations, and assisting in the selection of equipment and components. The role involves monitoring system performance, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting corrective and preventive actions. The HVAC Engineer will collaborate with project managers, facility teams, and external partners to implement solutions that meet safety, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Possess Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in similiar capacity and field.
  • Strong foundation in HVAC Engineering and HVAC systems, with the ability to design, analyze, and optimize cooling solutions.
  • Proficiency in HVAC Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Experience in Maintenance & Repair of HVAC equipment, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and implementing preventive maintenance plans.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency principles, sustainability practices, and relevant industry standards or codes.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work safely in on-site environments.
  • Previous experience in facilities management, cooling energy projects, or building services engineering is an advantage.
  • Good command of English in both written and and spoken communication.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, both oral and written, will be an added advantage.
  • Posses valid driving license and own car.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site when required.
