Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site internship opportunity based in Shah Alam. As a Finance Intern at Ace Gases, you will play an active role in supporting the Finance Department’s daily operations. You will assist in preparing financial statements, processing accounting transactions, conducting financial analyses, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. This role provides hands-on experience in various finance functions and offers valuable exposure to a dynamic business environment within the gas manufacturing industry.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and processing e-invoices in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Support the preparation of payment vouchers and ensure proper documentation for supplier and expense payments.
• Perform data entry and verification of financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and matching of invoices against purchase orders.
• Help maintain proper filing and record-keeping of finance documents (invoices, receipts, payment records, etc.).
• Support the finance team in month-end closing and reporting activities.
• Perform other ad-hoc finance or administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting or financial software is an advantage
• Eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, professional environment
