Role Description The Commissioning Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This position oversees and coordinates commissioning activities for building services and related systems, ensuring that installations meet design specifications, performance requirements, and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and managing commissioning schedules, supervising functional tests, reviewing technical documentation, and verifying system integration and performance. The role also involves collaborating with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and clients, as well as preparing commissioning reports, managing handover documentation, and supporting troubleshooting and optimization during project completion.

Qualifications


  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Commissioning Management, with proven experience overseeing testing, verification, and system handover.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Building Services, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and related systems in commercial, DC or industrial environments.
  • Candidates should possess abilities in Project Management to plan activities, manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure project delivery to scope and quality.
  • Candidates should possess competencies in Contract Management and Procurement to support vendor selection, contract administration, and compliance with project agreements.
  • Relevant engineering degree or diploma (mechanical, electrical, or building services) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams on-site.
  • Experience in commissioning for large-scale or DC projects is an advantage.
